Q4 2023 Performance of Top Wellness Apps on Android in Europe

In the final quarter of 2023, Europe's wellness app scene on Android saw varied performances among the top contenders. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

ShutEye®: Sleep & Relax experienced a significant uptick in downloads, starting at 29K in late September and reaching a peak of 97K by Christmas week. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, climbing from 43K to over 125K in the same period. Revenue also saw a steady increase, with a notable jump from $21K to $45K by the year's end.

Meanwhile, Sleep Monitor: Sleep Tracker saw its downloads decrease from 88K to 28K and weekly active users decline from 196K to 122K by the quarter's close. However, the app's revenue showed a slight positive trend in the final weeks, moving from $8K to $9K.

The Me+ Daily Routine Planner witnessed fluctuations in downloads, peaking at 83K in late December. Active users increased substantially, from 105K in late September to nearly 193K by the end of December. Revenue also saw growth, with a dip in November but recovering to $23K in the last week of December.

I Am Sober maintained a relatively steady download count throughout the quarter, ranging from 17K to 22K, and its weekly active users hovered around 300K, indicating a stable user base. Revenue remained modest, with slight increases observed towards the end of the quarter.

Lastly, BetterSleep: Sleep tracker saw its downloads dip to 14K in early December before climbing back to 18K. Active users experienced a decrease mid-quarter but managed to recover to 105K by the end of December. Revenue exhibited minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at $7K.
